Christine Hawthorn is the principal designer of Hawthorn Landscape Architects, based in Kerikeri, Bay of Islands, New Zealand.

After graduating from Lincoln University with a bachelor of Landscape Architecture with honours, Christine’s love of her home town and beauty of the Northland landscape inspired her to establish her own landscape design and planning practice.

Over the last 15 years Christine has built up a large client base from Auckland to Kaitaia, and has offices in Kerikeri and Auckland.

Hawthorn Landscape Architects create gardens for a wide spectrum of design briefs, ranging from large scaled grounds on lifestyle properties to the handkerchief-sized sections of inner city living.

In addition to residential landscape design Christine also designs commercial landscapes and prepares landscape and visual impact assessments.
